Best Ipod docking station on the market! A review of the Logitech S715i
By Hentec
Logitech has in my opinion been making some of the best docking stations over the last few years and the S715 is no exception to this.
Opening the packaging ,Thoughtfully bundled in with a padded travel case, you'll find an auxiliary input for any non-Apple portable on this strikingly lovely piece of equipment.
A fold-out support keeps the S715 relatively still while the inclusion of a remote control should mean you will not be touching it often.
You'll also find a rechargeable battery inside, which gives you approx eight hours of playback. A mains cable is also included.
It's ‘Works with iPhone' as well as ‘made for iPod' certified too, so dock your Apple product of choice to enjoy the sound and you don't need to switch to Airplane mode.
Sonically, the S715i really is a lovely sounding unit.
It isn't the loudest- or biggest-sounding iPod dock I have heard, but it's by far the smoothest, most dynamic and most detailed, delivering impressive punch and insight for such a small unit.
Vocals from Adele Rolling in the deep sound intimate, picking up small inflections in her voice far better than any other docking station I have heard.
If you prefer your tunes a little more urban and upbeat, then Chris Brown's Look at me now (Ft. Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes) shows the Logitech capable of delivering solid, musical beats in a soundstage that remains balanced and clear.
If your in the market for an iPod dock at an affordable price then this should be right at the top of your list..
